Former 'Baywatch' star David Hasselhoff is heading to Melbourne to star in a musical based on his own life.
According to Contactmusic.com, the musical, which will be called simply 'David Hasselhoff: The Musical', will include pieces inspired by 'Knight Rider' and 'The Young and The Restless', as well as the music of Teddy Pendergrass.
Hasselhoff said: "I am also doing a heart-rending set on my life and the mistakes I have made. It sounds like a bad joke, but it is really going to be a good show."
"It's written by the same people who wrote Bette Midler's show and produced by the people who produced 'Chicago' in London," he said.
"If it ends up in Vegas, how great would that be? I want to entertain people," the actor said.
