'Dynasty' star Diahann Carroll will make a guest appearance in the second series of 'Grey's Anatomy'.
The Hollywood Reporter says the series' creator and executive producer, Shonda Rhimes, told reporters Carroll would appear in the next series during a press tour of the show's set yesterday.
However she did not say what role Carroll would play.
Golden Globe winner Carroll's film credits include 'Carmen Jones', 'Porgy and Bess' and 'Claudine', for which she received an Oscar nomination.
