People magazine has reported that singer Avril Lavigne married her fiancé, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, in California on Saturday.
The magazine says that about 110 guests attended the outdoor, nondenominational ceremony in the coastal city of Montecito, 90 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
21-year-old Lavigne and 26-year-old Whibley had been engaged for over a year.
Lavigne can be heard voicing the character of Heather in the animated movie 'Over the Hedge', which is currently showing in Irish cinemas.
