Sean Connery is to make an appearance at the 60th Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF).
The former James Bond will answer questions after the screening of his 1967 film 'The Bowler and the Bunnet'.
This rare public interview will be hosted by EIFF artistic director Shane Danielson.
"He is the patron of the festival, so it seems that in our 60th year we should be commemorating that," Danielsen told The Scotsman newspaper.
The film festival normally runs for 12 days but, in honour of its 60th year, the 2006 EIFF will run from 14 to 27 August.
