'Emmerdale' actress Sammy Winward has spoken about the pressures of trying to balance her acting career with being a single mother.
The 20-year-old star, who plays Katie Sugden in the soap, is mother to one-year-old Mia.
In an interview with the Sunday Mirror's Celebs magazine, Winward said that she found caring for her daughter "hard work", but said that returning to the soap after her maternity leave was "brilliant".
Speaking about the positives of being a young mother, she said: "When she's 16 I'll only be 35, so we can go out on the town together. Well, I hope so. Here's me thinking I'll be a dead cool mum, but she'll probably think I'm a complete geek."
