'The Wind That Shakes The Barley' is due to get its Irish premiere tonight in Cork, where part of the film was shot last year.
The film, which won the prestigious Palme d'Or award at this year's Cannes Film Fesival, tells the story of two brothers who fought together during the War of Independence and against each other in the Civil War.
'The Wind That Shakes The Barley', which stars Cillian Murphy and Liam Cunningham, cost €6.5m to make and was filmed in Cork and Kerry last summer.
Screenwriter Paul Laverty and director Ken Loach signed copies of the screenplay in Cork this afternoon.
