Pop singer Kylie Minogue is set to give her first television interview since being diagnosed with breast cancer last year.

The singer will speak to presenter Cat Deeley about her struggle to get back to full health in a special programme on Sky One, entitled 'Kylie: The Interview'.

The programme will feature Minogue talking about her plans for the future with boyfriend Oliver Martinez and also extracts from her personal video diary.

Sky One's director of programming, Richard Woolfe, said: "Kylie is one of the UK's biggest and best-loved artists. Ever since she made her UK debut in Neighbours some 20 years ago, she has found a place in the nation's heart. The news of her diagnosis sent shockwaves across the world."

'Kylie: The Interview' will be broadcast on Sunday 16 July at 9pm on Sky One.
