The 2006 MTV Movie Awards have been announced, with 'The Wedding Crashers' the big winner on the night.
The comedy was named Best Film with stars Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn winning the award for Best On-Screen Team and their co-star Isla Fisher named Best Newcomer.
The Best Performance award went to Jake Gyllenhaal for 'Brokeback Mountain' while Steve Carell won the Best Comedic Performance award for 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin'.
The Best Hero award went to Christian Bale for 'Batman Begins' with Hayden Christensen named Best Villain for 'Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith'.
Movie Awards host Jessica Alba went home with the Sexiest Performance award for 'Sin City' and Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger won the Best Kiss award for 'Brokeback Mountain'.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt won the Best Fight award for 'Mr & Mrs Smith' and Best Frightened Performance went to Jennifer Carpenter for 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose'.
The mtvU student filmmaker award went to Joshua Caldwell of Fordham University for his film 'A Beautiful Lie'.
