'Underworld' and 'Underworld: Evolution' director Len Wiseman is in talks to helm the fourth film in the 'Die Hard' series.
The Hollywood Reporter says the film finds John McClane (Bruce Willis) coming out of retirement to fight an Internet terrorist organisation.
The first three films in the 'Die Hard' series earned $740m at the box office worldwide.
Willis can currently be seen on Irish cinema screens in the police adventure '16 Blocks'.
