Magician Paul Daniels and his wife and assistant Debbie McGee have become the first celebrity act to be voted off 'The X Factor: Battle of the Stars'.
The couple sang Robbie Williams' hit 'Let Me Entertain You' but failed to secure enough votes from members of the public, forcing them to sing against nutritionist Gillian McKeith in a final showdown.
After Simon Cowell chose to save his act, Paul and Debbie, and Louis Walsh opted to save his performer, Gillian McKeith, Sharon Osbourne was given the casting vote.
She chose to save McKeith, meaning that the food guru will return to perform again tonight.
James Hewitt and Rebecca Loos, who are one of Simon's acts, sang 'Addicted To Love' together last night.
While the Chefs group of Aldo Zilli, Paul Rankin, Ross Burden and Jean-Christophe Novelli, which has been dubbed Bake That, sang 'Uptown Girl'.
Other contestants taking part in the show include former 'EastEnders' star Lucy Benjamin, who played Lisa Fowler in the show, and former 'Coronation Street' star Nikki Sanderson, who played hairdresser Candice Stowe.
DJ Chris Moyles, rugby player Matt Stevens and model Michelle Marsh are also taking part in the competition, to raise money for their chosen charities.
