The 'Big Brother' housemates got a surprise last night when two new housemates were introduced to the show, as a reward for them successfully completing a task.
After Pete had correctly answered three of the four quiz questions he had been asked in the diary room, Glyn was sent to the garden to retrieve the prizes.
New housemates Aisleyne and Sam emerged from big red boxes, as the other housemates watched proceedings on a television screen in the house.
Aisleyne was the first new housemate to be revealed. The 27-year-old from London asked Glyn: "Am I a good prize?" He immediately replied: "Yes, and good looking as well."
Sam, who is a nail technician from North Ayrshire, was later revealed when Pete answered another of his questions about the housemates correctly.
Host Davina McCall explained that 18-year-old Sam is biologically a man but would be referred to as a woman for the purposes of the show.
While Richard and Lea seemed welcoming to the new housemates, not all of the original contestants were pleased to see new arrivals.
Sezer told Imogen and Grace that he intended to give Aisleyne a "hard time", complaining that "Lea and Richard are already latching on to them".
Grace said: "That blonde one, you can imagine what she'll look like without make-up."
Bookmakers William Hill have currently placed Sam at odds of 10/1 to win the show, with Aisleyne trailing behind at odds of 12/1. Pete remains favourite to win this series at odds of 8/11.
