Former 'Coronation Street' star Nikki Sanderson will be joining the celebrity line-up for 'The X Factor: Battle of the Stars', it has been announced.
The actress, who played hairdresser Candice Stowe in the soap for five years, will compete in the 16-24-year-olds category.
Sanderson said: "Taking part on this show is a mile apart from my normal acting jobs, there won’t be the opportunity to re-take any fluffed lines and I’ll only get one shot each night to prove myself."
Former 'EastEnders' star Lucy Benjamin, nutritionist Gillian McKeith, DJ Chris Moyles, model Michelle Marsh, magician Paul Daniels and his wife Debbie McGee have already been confirmed as contestants on the show, which begins next week.
