Hilary Swank is to play the lead role in the big screen adaptation of Cecilia Ahern's book 'PS, I Love You'.
Production Weekly says that the film reunites Swank with director Richard LaGravenese, who has just finished working with her on the film 'Freedom Writers'.
LaGravenese's other credits include the screenplays for 'The Horse Whisperer', 'The Bridges of Madison County' and 'The Fisher King'.
'PS, I Love You' tells the story of a young widow whose late husband has left her a list of 10 messages, which are intended to help her with the upheaval in her life.
