Kirsten Dunst is in negotiations to star opposite Jack Black in 'Be Kind Rewind', the new film from 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' director Michel Gondry.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film, written by Gondry, tells the story of a junkyard worker (Black) who thinks a power plant is melting his brain.
A bungled sabotage leads to a magnetic field being created around him and he erases all the videotapes in the shop where his best friend works.
The friends then decide to remake all the lost films in a bid to keep the shop's one loyal customer, an elderly lady.
Dunst previously worked with Gondry on 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'.
Shooting on the film is due to begin in late September.
