Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty interrupted an interview with MTV News UK by squirting what appeared to be a syringe full of blood at a camera, while a crew were filming.
According to MTV.com, Doherty had initially refused to participate in the interview, which was recorded after Babyshambles' recent Berlin concert.
Later, while a camera crew were filming an interview with his bandmates Drew McConnell and Adam Ficek, Doherty walked into the room, sat down and then squirted what appeared to be blood from a syringe at the camera, spraying some of the crew in the process.
Guitarist McConnell reportedly got up and left the room, saying: "I think the interview is over my friend. I'm really sorry about that mate."
Doherty left the room briefly but returned to sing a song about the incident for the crew.
