Kilmeen victors at Athlone festival

Kilmeen Drama Group, from Cork, ran away with the lion's share of the awards in the RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival last night.

Adjudicator Russell Boyce said the entire festival showcased 'really splendid work'.

He said the Rossmore, Co Cork, group's production of Tom Murphy's 'A Crucial Week in the Life of a Grocer’s Assistant' was 'something really special'.
