Jack Black is to star in 'Be Kind Rewind', the new film from 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' director Michel Gondry.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film tells the story of a junkyard worker (Black) whose brain is magnetised, which leads to the destruction of all the tapes in his friend's video store.
The friends then decide to remake all the lost films in a bid to keep the shop's one loyal customer, an elderly lady with signs of dementia.
Among the films the duo recreate are 'The Lion King', 'Back to the Future' and 'Robocop'.
The film is due to begin shooting on 6 September in New York.
