Rapper and actor Snoop Dogg's first novel is to be published in the US in October.
The Book Standard reports that 'Love Don't Live Here Anymore' tells of a young man struggling with daily life in Southern California while trying to become a hip-hop star.
The book will be published by Atria Books, a division of literary giant Simon & Schuster.
Commenting, Atria's Vice President and Director of Publicity Kathleen Schmidt said: "Snoop, by nature of what he does, is a storyteller."
She continued: "Books speak more to a female audience than does his music. So these novels give him an opportunity to show, particularly his female fans, another side."
