Police are investigating an allegation of assault made by 'American Idol' judge Paula Abdul, following an argument at a party.
Abdul claims that a man slammed her into a wall at a party, giving her concussion and back injuries.
A spokesperson confirmed that Abdul had reported the incident to the Los Angeles Police Department earlier in the week.
The spokesperson said: "She claimed she was at a private party on April 2nd and that at 1am an argument occurred between her and a man and that the man grabbed her by the arm and threw her against a wall."
"She claimed to have suffered a concussion and spinal injuries. She saw her own doctor and at the time of the report said she would make herself available for photographs (of her injuries)."
Abdul appeared on 'American Idol's live shows this week as scheduled.
