Rapper 50 Cent is to star opposite Nicolas Cage in 'The Dance', a new film based on the life of prison boxing coach Billy 'The Kid' Roth.
Variety says that the film is based on a 2003 documentary of the same name.
A former prizefighter, Roth has spent more than 40 years working as a volunteer boxing coach in prisons in the US state of Louisiana.
Cage will play the coach with 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, playing an inmate who has great boxing potential – the problem being that he is serving a life sentence.
