Reality television star and singer Jessica Simpson is reportedly in talks to star in the movie version of the television series 'Baywatch'.
According to reports, Simpson is set to take on the role of CJ Parker, the lifeguard played by Pamela Anderson in the original series.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Jessica really caught the eye in 'The Dukes of Hazzard' film last summer. She was the unanimous choice for the Baywatch role."
According to reports, David Hasselhoff, who shot to fame in the television series, has not signed on to star in the movie yet, but producers are reportedly hoping that he will reprise the role of Mitch Buchannon.
