Jennifer Aniston has refused to comment on a rumour that Oprah Winfrey is planning to host an $8m wedding for the actress and boyfriend Vince Vaughn.
The Associated Press reports that while publicising her new film 'Friends with Money' on the 'Today' show in the US on Tuesday, Aniston was asked about the rumour but remained silent.
Aniston's co-star in the film, Catherine Keener, then said to 'Today's entertainment correspondent Jill Rappaport: "I thought you weren't going to go there. But you did."
Rappaport replied: "It's frustrating because those rumours do get out there."
She added: "When you hear about an $8m wedding, you'd like to be invited."
To which Keener replied: "And now you won't be."
Keener's comment defused the tension with Rappaport, Aniston and co-star Joan Cusack laughing at the quip.
'Friends with Money' is released in Ireland on 2 June.
