Actor Sean Connery has said that he is "feeling very well" after surgery to remove a tumour from one of his kidneys.
Speaking at a Scottish fashion show in New York, his first public appearance since his operation, the 75-year-old actor said that people had been "almost over friendly" asking him about his health.
According to media reports, Connery had surgery at a private hospital in New York to remove the kidney tumour, which was reportedly benign.
Connery also said this week that he thought new Bond actor Daniel Craig was a good choice for the role, describing him as "a very, very good actor".
