'The X Factor' semi-finalist Brenda Edwards has joined the cast of the West End production of Chicago.
The 36-year-old will play Mama Morton in the show which closes at the Adelphi Theatre on 22 April before reopening at its original 1979 home, the Cambridge Theatre, on 28 April.
The character of the prison matron was previously played by Gaby Roslin and Alison Moyet.
Edwards stars opposite Bonnie Langford (Roxie Hart), Anna-Faye Wright (Velma Kelly) and Luca Barbareschi (Billy Flynn) in the show.
