Jessica Simpson has moved record labels from Columbia to Epic Records.
Billboard reports that both labels are owned by Sony Music and that Simpson is currently working on the follow-up to her 2003 album 'In This Skin'.
The trade daily says that the album is expected before the end of the year.
A source told Billboard that an R&B-oriented single would be released in the near future.
