'Celebrity Big Brother' winner Chantelle Houghton, who is supporting an anti-bullying campaign, has revealed that she was bullied when she was at school.
The 23-year-old reality television star said: "I was bullied when I was in school and I wish that someone would've said 'hang on that's not acceptable' and it would've stopped."
"It's really important to tell someone in authority if you see someone being bullied. Too many people are ignoring it. And ignoring it can be as bad as doing it," she said.
"My advice to anyone being bullied is to tell someone, even if it's your friend, or tell your parents or a teacher," Chantelle said.
Speaking about her own experience, she said: "No-one really knew about it but it got to the point where I didn't really go to school much. I would dread going to school."
Chantelle is working with Bullywatch London to boost awareness of bullying and the ways it can be stopped.
