'Coronation Street' star Johnny Briggs has admitted that he tossed a coin to decide whether he would stay on in the soap or leave.
Briggs, who has played factory boss Mike Baldwin in the show for the past 30 years, said that he flipped his lucky dollar coin to decide his future plans.
"I thought, 'Heads, I'm going. Tails, I stay'. It was heads. I'm going to miss the old devil. He's been part of my life for so long," he said.
"I was weeping. Saying goodbye to Mike was one of the hardest things I've done."
