It is reported that Jennifer Lopez has been offered the role of Sue Ellen Ewing in director Robert Luketic's big screen version of 1980s TV series 'Dallas'.
Variety reports that Luke Wilson is in negotiations to star as Bobby Ewing while John Travolta has been offered the role of JR Ewing and Shirley MacLaine is tipped for the role of Miss Ellie Ewing.
The trade daily says that while no deals are in place for the stars, most of the castings are likely to happen.
If the deals fall into place, production is likely to begin in October, once Travolta has completed work on the film 'Hairspray'.
Lopez previously worked with Luketic on the film 'Monster-in Law'.
