Having directed 'Munich', 'War of the Worlds', 'The Terminal', 'Catch Me If You Can' and 'Minority Report' in recent years, Steven Spielberg has announced that he is taking a year's break from the director's chair.

Speaking to Fox News after the Oscars, Spielberg said he would continue to prepare for his Abraham Lincoln biopic and the fourth film in the Indiana Jones series.

He will also continue to oversee projects as a producer.

Spielberg said that writer David Koepp ('Spider-Man', 'War of the Worlds') was now working on the final draft of the script for the fourth Indiana Jones film.
