The Storytellers Theatre Company and the Civic Theatre are taking a new stage adaptation of James Stephens' 'The Crock of Gold' on tour nationwide.

This new version of 'The Crock of Gold', which has been adapted and directed by Fiona Buffini, will receive its world premiere at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin on 15 March.

Buffini recently had a successful run with 'The Two Gentlemen of Verona' for the Royal Shakespeare Company and 'The 39 Steps' for West Yorkshire Playhouse.

The play, described as a "blend of humour, sensuality and satire," has a cast which includes Carrie Crowley, Bosco Hogan, Janet Moran and Vincent Higgins.
