Madonna vocal talents, together with the voices of Snoop Dogg and David Bowie, is to feature in a French live-action/computer-animated fantasy, according to Reuters.
Filmmaker Luc Besson will direct 'Arthur and the Minimoys', which is based on a popular children's book that he wrote.
Freddie Highmore, who starred in 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and 'Finding Neverland', will take the title role of Arthur.
The story is about 10-year-old Arthur, who tries to save the home of his grandmother (Mia Farrow) by looking for family treasure in the land of the Minimoys, creatures that are just a tenth of an inch tall.
While on his quest he meets Princess Selenia (Madonna) and Max (Snoop Dogg), who travel with him to a forbidden city ruled by the evil Malthazar (Bowie).
The film, which will be distributed in English-speaking territories by the Weinstein Co, is set for release on 25 December.
