Production has begun in New York on 'August Rush', the new film starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, which is directed by Irish director Kirsten Sheridan.
Rhys Meyers is joined in the film by 'Finding Neverland' star Freddie Highmore, 'Felicity' star Keri Russell, Robin Williams and 'Hustle & Flow' star Terrence Howard.
The musical drama tells the story of a young Irish guitarist (Rhys Meyers) and young cellist (Russell) who spend one night together in New York and are then separated.
That night results in a son, August Rush (Highmore), who embarks on a musical adventure to reunite with his parents.
