Three years after shows in Shanghai and Beijing were cancelled following the outbreak of respiratory illness SARS, the Rolling Stones are to play their debut concert in China this April.

According to an announcement from Chinese promoters Emma Entertainment, the legendary rockers will play Shanghai's Grand Stage, an 8,000-seat converted indoor stadium, on 8 April.

Ticket prices for the concert range from 300 to 3000 yuan (€31.40 to €314).

The Rolling Stones will also play Dublin's Phoenix Park this summer.
