The Kaiser Chiefs have paid tribute to Ordinary Boys singer and 'Celebrity Big Brother' star Preston, ahead of the Brit Awards, where they are nominated in five categories.
Singer Ricky Wilson said: "It was Preston who convinced his boss at the B-Unique label to sign us."
"Otherwise we might still be unheard of. He went out of his way to help us. Preston pestered and pestered on our behalf because he had faith in us."
"I can't thank him enough - and I'll say so from the stage if I get the chance," Wilson said.
