Former 'Coronation Street' star Sarah Lancashire has been forced to pull out of the West End musical 'Guys and Dolls' due to illness.
Lancashire, who played barmaid Racquel in the soap, was starring alongside former 'EastEnders' actor Nigel Harman, who played Dennis Rickman.
The actress has played Miss Adelaide in the stage show for the past two months but has not be able to reappear in the musical since being sent home with a chest infection last month.
A spokesperson said today: "Unfortunately, Sarah Lancashire will not be returning to 'Guys And Dolls', but she and the producers very much hope she will return to the role later in the year."
