Pop group Westlife have hinted that there is a strong possibility that they will be recording a duet with Michael Jackson.
The group, who picked up the award for Best Irish Pop Act for the sixth time at the Meteors last night, said that their manager Louis Walsh had come up with the idea.
Shane Filan said: "The idea to do a single with Michael Jackson came from Louis Walsh who met up with an agent about three months ago in Germany."
"It would be this cool thing to do, we are all big fans of Michael Jackson," he said, adding that the song was likely to be a ballad.
Filan said that the group were also discussing the possibility of performing duets with Lionel Richie and Julio Iglesias, ahead of their next album.
"If we get one we would be very happy because they are all big names," the singer said.
Fellow group member Nicky Byrne also said: "2005 became this phenomenal year for us. If we get the songs right, we can go on for as long as we want to."
