Mark O'Halloran, the writer and star of the Irish film 'Adam & Paul', was among the winners at the Evening Standard British Film Awards last night.
O'Halloran took the Best Screenplay award for 'Adam & Paul'.
The film, directed by Leonard Abrahamson and also starring Tom Murphy, has also won awards at the Irish Film and Television Awards, the Galway Film Fleadh and the Sofia International Film Festival.
'The Constant Gardener' was named Best Film at last night's ceremony with star Ralph Fiennes winning the Best Actor award.
Best Actress went to Natasha Richardson for her performance in 'Asylum'.
