Sean Bean has said in an interview that he would like to appear in 'Coronation Street', possibly as a milkman.
Speaking to The Daily Express, Bean said: “I don’t get to watch much TV but I do like 'Coronation Street'.”
"Sir Ian McKellen was on that, wasn't he? Maybe I could do that," the star said. When asked what part he would like to play, the actor said: "Oh I don't know, the milkman."
According to reports, 'Coronation Street' bosses were delighted to hear Bean's comments and didn't rule out the possibility of a future appearance on the soap.
A spokesperson for the show said: "That is fantastic. Sean is a good, solid northern actor and would be brilliant."
"Sean is a fantastic actor but also a busy and prolific actor. If we found a suitable character for him and he could do it, then who knows?"
The spokesperson also reportedly said: "It's fantastic he's a fan of the show and we do have cameos from time to time so there is no reason to think it may never happen, it is always a possibility."
