Tom Cruise has been named the top moneymaking star of 2005 in a yearly poll of cinema owners.
The Quigley Poll has taken place every year since 1932 and asks cinema owners to vote for the Top 10 stars who have generated the most box office revenue for them.
Cruise, who starred in 'War of the Worlds' in 2005, has topped the poll seven times.
Johnny Depp was in second place on the Quigley Poll Top 10 for 2005 with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt tying for third.
The remainder of the Top 10 was, in order: Vince Vaughn, George Clooney, Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, Adam Sandler and Tom Hanks, who topped the poll in 2004.
