RTÉ Television has announced that a 'Late Late Show' special will be broadcast on 17 February, showcasing Brian Kennedy performing Ireland's four potential Eurovision songs.
Viewers will be invited to vote for the song to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens in May.
The Eurovision special of the 'Late Late Show' will also look back at the Top 10 Irish Eurovision songs since the country began competing, including interviews with previous winners.
Viewers who vote for the song which is picked as the one to represent Ireland will be entered into a draw for a Renault car.
RTÉ has also decided to extend the closing date for song submissions to Friday 27 January. Over 500 writers have already submitted songs.
The final four songs, as picked by a committee, will be sung by Brian Kennedy on the 'Late Late Show' special.
