To celebrate 10 years as a recording artist Darren Hayes has announced plans for a tour in 2006, performing songs from his Savage Garden and solo career.

He plays Dublin's Vicar Street on Saturday 6 May

The show, designed and directed by long term collaborator and U2 show designer Willie Williams, will include an interactive element which will include fans appearing on stage with Hayes.

As half of Australian pop duo Savage Garden, Hayes released two albums in the 1990s - including the hits 'To the Moon and Back' and 'Truly Madly Deeply' - before the band split up in 2001.

Hayes debuted as a solo artist with the release of 'Spin' in 2002, following this up with 2004 album 'Tension and the Spark'.

Tickets for A Big Night In with Darren Hayes at Vicar Street cost €44 and will go on sale next Thursday 26 January from Ticketmaster and usual outlets.
