The former Football Association secretary, Faria Alam, has become the second person to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother.
The 39-year-old Bangladeshi-born model is famous for her fling with England football manager Sven-Goran Eriksson.
She was nominated for eviction by other housemates alongside US basketball star Dennis Rodman and Dead or Alive singer Pete Burns, who had been the favourite to lose tonight's public vote.
Last Friday, model Jodie Marsh was the first to be evicted.
Nine contestants now remain. Before tonight's eviction, fake pop singer Chantelle Houghton was the bookmakers' favourite to win the show.
Meanwhile, politician George Galloway has begun to suspect that his participation in the show may be sparking protest in the outside world.
Galloway became worried about the public reaction to his stay in the house after comments made by television hosts Richard and Judy yesterday.
The 51-year-old MP took part in the 'You Say We Pay' section of their show and picked up on remarks made by the pair about enormous interest in 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
"They said 'we can't tell you what the papers, public or the MPs have been saying'," Galloway commented afterwards. "So the MPs must be attacking me for being in here."
