Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am has set up his own record label and is also working on a solo album.
Billboard reports that the will.i.am music group is a joint venture with labels A&M/Interscope and will release new recordings by Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie and Macy Gray, among others.
Will.i.am has produced the majority of Fergie's album and says that it is almost completed.
He plans to start recording his own solo album in June, with a 2007 release eyed.
