Harry Potter star set for EastEnders

Actress Tiana Benjamin, who starred in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire', has reportedly landed a role in 'EastEnders'.

According to Digital Spy, Benjamin, who played Gryffindor Quidditch captain Angelina Johnson in the recent 'Harry Potter' film, is set to play Chelsea Fox in the soap, a daughter of Diane Parish's on-screen character, Denise Fox.

The Fox family storylines will hot up over the next couple of months when Denise begins seeing Deano Wick's father, Kevin (played by Phil Daniels), who turns up in Albert Square, after Deano has told everyone that he is dead.

Speaking about her new role, Benjamin said: "I've been a big fan of 'EastEnders' since I was little and I'm very excited to join the show."
