'Coronation Street' star Samia Smith, who plays hairdresser Maria Sutherland, has denied reports that she is planning to quit the soap.
Recent media reports suggested that the 23-year-old actresses, who got married last September, was planning to leave the soap to start a family.
However, according to the Manchester Evening News, Smith has denied that she wants to leave the show, saying: "There's absolutely no truth in this report".
"I've only just got married. I'm enjoying life with Matt and enjoying working on 'Coronation Street' more than ever. I'm also looking forward to working with our new producer, Steve Frost."
