Teenage star Lindsay Lohan has been hospitalised in Miami after a severe asthma attack.
The 19-year-old was admitted to hospital on Monday night after having breathing difficulties in her hotel room.
Her publicist Leslie Sloane said the singer and actress was "resting comfortably" and would hopefully be discharged today.
Sloane said the singer and actress had suffered from asthma since childhood and said she believed Lohan was last hospitalised "when she was little".
The publicist said that Lohan suggested in an email that the humidity in Florida may have contributed to her asthma attack.
Lohan is due to start shooting her new film, the drama 'Chapter 29', in New York later this month.
