Detroit rapper Obie Trice was injured in a drive-by shooting on one of the city's freeways on Saturday morning.
Michigan State Police Sergeant Mario Gonzales told Billboard magazine that the 28-year-old was driving on the city's Lodge Freeway when someone in another car shot through the window of the rapper's vehicle at around 1.10am.
It was not revealed where the bullet struck Trice; he was taken to hospital and later released.
Sergeant Gonzales said there were no suspects in the shooting, which detectives are investigating.
