Having shot his two most recent films in England, Woody Allen is to shoot a film in Spain in 2007.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Allen will write and direct his English language script for Barcelona-based production house Mediapro.
The film will star international and Spanish actors.
Commenting, Allen said: "I'm happy to be able to work with Mediapro and make a film in Spain. I hope that I'll be able to enjoy my stay in Spain, a country that has become very special to me."
Allen's new film 'Match Point', which stars Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers, is released on Friday 6 January.
