With 'Celebrity Big Brother' starting this week, Channel 4 has remained tight-lipped about the line-up for the show.
Speculation has mounted that Michael Barrymore will be one of the eight contestants, but the entertainer's agent, Gray Bartlett, said he could not confirm the rumours.
"He is going to be doing a major TV project later this year, but I can't say any more than that," said Bartlett.
Others who have been tipped to appear on the show are Dead Or Alive singer Pete Burns, comic Liza Tarbuck and TV presenter Esther Rantzen.
A Channel 4 spokesperson said that the line-up for the show could change up to the last minute.
The show begins on Channel 4 on Thursday night at 9pm.
