Having demanded their release from their contract earlier this year, Linkin Park have resigned with music giant Warner Bros Records.
The New York Times says that under the new deal Linkin Park will receive an estimated $15m advance on their next album; the deal gives Warner Bros an option for up to five more albums.
Linkin Park plan to release their new album by mid-2006 and their royalty rate is set to rise to an estimated 20%.
Neither the band nor the label would comment on the deal, but a joint statement released said: "We would like to thank Linkin Park fans worldwide for their continued support. Despite initial concerns after last year's change in ownership, the band is pleased with the direction of the company and in Warner Brothers Records' ability to effectively market their music worldwide under the leadership of [label chairman] Tom Whalley."
